ABOUT OUR FUNDRAISER

Cycle around Bali fundraiser was created in 2021 to aid impoverished children and mothers . Mothers and children who are begging on the urban streets of Bali . Living in shocking conditions, children who are suffering malnutrition, abuse and trafficking.

Bali Street Mums, a registered nonprofit organization, began over six years ago as a passion of founder Kim Farr. In 2014, Kim’s heart for serving led her from the New Zealand to Despensar, Bali where she began volunteering at a refuge for street kids.

Overall a great experience.
Wonderful to be on the open road and experience the sights sounds and aromas ofBali.

A ride around Bali was originally a personal goal, however when the opportunity arose to ride with a group and to raise money for Bali Street Mums I was sold!!.
Being part of a group and having practice rides helped with my confidenceaboutriding on main roads here.

One of my best experiences was on my bicycle, circling around the Bali Island for 4 days, all the while, raising money for the Bali Street Mum organization.

I was so nervous at the start of the trip, but I knew deep down inside of me I could do this. I hadn’t explored much of Bali, so this seemed like the perfect way to see it—-on a bicycle!!
